Hopefully you can answer this. I am a new member (1 year paid on 9/30/25). By now I understand New Threads vs. Post Reply (Replies). About 10 times or so, throughout my short tenure here, I have used Post Reply to add a pic relative to the original/New Thread’s topic. However, when I later try to find my Repy its in that original/New Thread it’s NOT THERE. Instead it’s in something like a sub thread (what I’m referring to it, not an OCC definition). I can find my Reply with the pic(s) I added via my Statistcs and viewing all my posts. Not only do I see my Reply but usually other Members’ replies are seen with mine. But, and again, those are NOT connected directly on or to the New Thread. So unless this is some error on my part (if so please enlighten me) what must I do to have my Post Reply appear on the New Thread? In that regard, does the creator of a NewThread somehow regulate who or what Reply is visible on his/her New Thread OR is there something pre-programmed to regulate that? Thanks very much for your time and attention to this question! X.

I'm not sure if I fully understand your question but I'll point out a couple of things.
When members are new here there initial posts are sent to the moderation queue waiting for a moderator to approve them. This normally happens within a few hour. Once approved the posts can be seen by everyone here. If you are talking about what you see when you click on "New Posts", that is a custom page that will only display the threads that have new posts since you have lasted viewed a thread or threads that still contain posts that you haven't viewed before. Once you view a thread from the list, it will no longer be shown on your "New Posts" list. |
