Thread- Post Reply question:

Hopefully you can answer this. I am a new member (1 year paid on 9/30/25). By now I understand New Threads vs. Post Reply (Replies). About 10 times or so, throughout my short tenure here, I have used Post Reply to add a pic relative to the original/New Thread’s topic. However, when I later try to find my Repy its in that original/New Thread it’s NOT THERE. Instead it’s in something like a sub thread (what I’m referring to it, not an OCC definition). I can find my Reply with the pic(s) I added via my Statistcs and viewing all my posts. Not only do I see my Reply but usually other Members’ replies are seen with mine. But, and again, those are NOT connected directly on or to the New Thread. So unless this is some error on my part (if so please enlighten me) what must I do to have my Post Reply appear on the New Thread? In that regard, does the creator of a NewThread somehow regulate who or what Reply is visible on his/her New Thread OR is there something pre-programmed to regulate that? Thanks very much for your time and attention to this question! X.

I'm not sure if I fully understand your question but I'll point out a couple of things.

When members are new here there initial posts are sent to the moderation queue waiting for a moderator to approve them. This normally happens within a few hour. Once approved the posts can be seen by everyone here.

If you are talking about what you see when you click on "New Posts", that is a custom page that will only display the threads that have new posts since you have lasted viewed a thread or threads that still contain posts that you haven't viewed before. Once you view a thread from the list, it will no longer be shown on your "New Posts" list.

Thank you for replying. This problem I’m having is with Post Reply, not New Threads I’ve created. Example: I did a Post Reply adding a single pic to the Sexy Amateur thread, “ Random Cute Amateurs” of Oct 26. (i have been communicating with moderator Fango on this problem. Btw, on that same thread, Fango posted two comments. In my back and forth with Fango, I pointed that out.) Here’s the problem as I see it: After doing Post Reply and adding a pic, when I enter that thread I DO NOT SEE the pic/reply I had posted. This has happened about 10 times in the last several weeks. However, when I go into my Statistics I do find my pics/replies. My added on (Post Reply) appears to be on a separate thread. So, if you can go into that thread I mentioned above and IF you see my wife’s pic on the original post I’ll be pleased. However, and again, I’ve checked it several times since I added that pic and her pic is not visible to me on that original (New) thread.

I know this probably seems confusing and it was to Fango, and I greatly appreciate Fango’s efforts, but I am still unclear why I am unable to see any of my Post Reply (Replies) from any of those original threads? That is why Fango referred me to you. And thank you for any enlightenment you can offer! X.

If you are seeing individual posts that you made while replying to an existing thread moved to another thread, the best explanation I can think of is that your post wasn't considered "on topic" for that thread and the moderators may have moved it to a more appropriate thread rather than simply deleting it.

Maybe you’re still working on that. Here’s a suggestion to check it out for yourself…….unless you’re familiar with this problem as I see it so far: Enroll as a John Doe to create a OCC account. Find a thread you like and do Post Reply and post something. A relevant pic would be good. Then after you post that re-visit that original (New) Thread. If you don’t see your post you’ll know what I’m trying to say. Unless I’m all wrong, and I never discount that (lol), if you don’t see your post you may wonder……is my post being seen? If it were visible to me would I get more Thanks/thumbs up?

Then if you enter your Statistics, then view all your posts, you should find it. Again, by not being visible via the original (New) thread, is it getting the most possible exposures?

But if you do see your post via the original (scrolling down) then please explain what I need to do to make it visible.

I hope that better explains what I’m experiencing. Thank you and Fango once again! X.

Could you perhaps give us the link to the posts you believe is not showing to the rest of the forum?

xmdandsubmit1 10-30-2025 03:57 AM

This is probably a dumb question……sorry, how do I find a thread’s link? Once I figure that out I’ll do that. Thank you!

Open the desired post & copy the full address from the address bar at the top of the page.

Here is the one I posted a pic on via Post Reply (10-23-25)… I saw it several times via my Statistics so I know it took. But when I entered via the original thread it’s New Thread) it was not there. This kind of thing has happened to me about 10 times in about 3 weeks:

So my question is, is the pic I posted via Post Reply vidible to all others? If so, why can’t I see it via the original Thread?

Thank you. X.

Sorry, I this should be the correct thread:
