Many (most?) pics here are of men who get aroused by their GFs. If that happens it's no big deal, because you can hide it by rushing into the sea or sit down. Your GF will notice it, but she's your GF so you share your boners with her anyway.

But suppose you're at a nude beach with a woman who's just a friend, colleague or acquaintance and you start to feel the tingle. A boner in that situation would not only be embarrassing, but could also make the friendship more or less awkward. Fortunately, this doesn't normally happen to me, but it has happened. So far, I've mostly been able to steer the mind onto calmer waters, for example by being more present in the now (that ol' mindfulness and meditation stuff) and focusing intensely on the conversation we're having.

But I've had two close calls IIRC, once saved by the fact that we were lying on our stomachs. If we hadn't been lying that close to each other, I might never have gotten that erection in the first place, but I'm not complaining about lying naked a bit too close to a tall, slim, cute naked blonde...

So - what are your experiences of unexpected and unwanted 'enthusiasm' in female just-friends company? Has anyone here found a good method that allows your mind to let go of the excitement?
Any horror stories about getting a beach boner in the wrong situation and the consequences thereof, or maybe stories where it ended with a good laugh?
