It's recently been announced that the privacy controls on Facebook will be changed to prevent access to private accounts. You can find the story on Yahoo and Google, just do a search for "Facebook in privacy damage-control mode". Lets hope Facebook isn't ruined and photos can still be found after the update. We'll just have to see what happens.

Yeah I was reading that. I think the problem now is there are far too many privacy options for users, so many are unaware that we can view their albums the way were doing it. I'm too worried if they make it simpler and people are able to lock everything down in one go this thread could end

Is anyone else having problems when using this url followed by the userid? http://www.facebook.com/photo_comments.php?id=

If the users account was locked down it would just say there is no content, now it's returning me to my facebook homepage instead even for accounts I looked at yesterday. Hope they haven't finally locked this down!!

Doesn't work for me either. Looks like a few people ruined Facebook for good, just like what happened to Photobucket. It wasn't even because of photos, it was because Facebook was getting complaints about people being able to access information within their account, even when they had it set to private. I guess the new fix also makes it impossible to access photos. Unless another way is found to access photos it looks like this thread might slowly die out.

I'll see what I have that I didn't post and update the thread as often as I can with them, it would be nice if everyone did the same, just to keep the thread going. I also have a ton of Face Party photos (if anyone has heard of it), so I could get a Face Party thread going.

Unfortunately it looks although the privacy settings are going to affect us all and this thread looks like it will slowly start to die out. We are not hurting anybody, the pictures are placed on the profiles for all to see and we are not invading anybody's privacy

Its still possible to find pictures but much much more difficult!
