I know I've seen it before and sorry for redundant post but could you tell me a good way to do .rar files? I did a search and it gave me every thread with a .rar file

Download and install this: http://download.cnet.com/WinRAR-32-b...?tag=mncol;pop (works with rar's, zips, jar's, bin's, iso's, etc.)

After the program is installed, right click on the .rar file and then click on "Extract Here" from the drop down list. The files will extract into whatever folder you have the .rar file in.

7-zip is also a good free alternative.

It appears that it will only extract RAR files, rather than create them but it works with a fair number of other formats aswell

Supported formats:

* Packing / unpacking: 7z, ZIP, GZIP, BZIP2 and TAR
* Unpacking only: ARJ, CAB, CHM, CPIO, DEB, DMG, HFS, ISO, LZH, LZMA, MSI, NSIS, RAR, RPM, UDF, WIM, XAR and Z.
