If it was your own personal watermark (like "otep33 please do not repost" for example) the answer would be yes, but anything else gets into sketchy territory. While it may not show the URL it's still connected to the site because of the name on it. That would apply to both paysites and free sites.
You could always link the site in the Free Sites section of the board or you can save photos, upload them to rapidshare then post the links in the Rapidshare section of the board.
