Try resetting all of your settings to default. Right-click on the IE Icon and go to Properties>Advanced>Restore advanced settings>Apply. If that fails to work try uninstalling IE and reinstalling it. If you're still having problems visit http://support.microsoft.com and search for a solution, you can also contact them directly for help. It sounds like a browser related problem that wouldn't be caused by the forum.

Another option would be to install Firefox and just leave IE in some random folder.
