I've only been to one key party before on a trip we took down south a couple years ago. Absolutely loved it.
The party was with a group that my partner Kate used to play with - when she was still with her ex.
This party, 6 couples, 4 play rooms (2 rooms were for a single couple only, 2 were doubles for 2cpls & sharing)
Guys picked the play partner from one box. The girls picked the room from another box.
Everyone except myself and one of the wives knew each other (the rest had been playing together for years).
Us two newbies had a special rule - if we picked our real partner, then we threw key back for another go.
It was weird, nerve racking, but fun as hell. I ended up in a sharing room - with an old friend of Kate, and another couple they had played together before. Amongst fucking my selected partner and then the eventual 4 way sharing in the room, I learned a lot about Kate from her old friends. Gossip and fuck and drink. Gossip and fuck and drink.
Kate ended up in one of the private rooms with a guy she had met only once before. So she had a great time and was noticeably the last pair out to the bar area after the fun.
Lots of drinks going on, lots of breaks and wandering around to have a look at who got who and what they were up to. Lots of chatting. Lots of laughs. Funny crowd.
We haven't been back down that way since then, but I've put my booking in with Kate - we have to do another key party with that crew when we get down there again.
