Cadiz beaches
I read recently the local authority has made nudism legal on all beaches around Cadiz. There are some signs that I've seen that suggest nudism is "recommended" which I love the idea of but I suspect is just poor translation.
I was wondering if anyone has experience of this area and if they know if this has made nudism more common in the signed areas, or even just toplessness more common around Cadiz. We have friends near there so were planning a visit sometime soon. |
Public nudity in Spain is, in fact, legal. This means that technically, you could even walk around the streets of Madrid in your birthday suit if you so desired. However, it's not all black and white. Spain has laws in place against public disturbance, which means that if your nudity provokes or disturbs others, you could potentially face legal consequences. In reality, while public nudity is tolerated in Spain, it's mostly confined to designated nudist beaches and naturist camps.
