Not entirely sure where the best place to post this is, but I felt this discovery is rare enough to warrant throwing it up.
To my knowledge, it's almost impossible to find a decent print of the film, Not Now Darling, especially one that hasn't edited out most of the nudity (for more current TV norms, I guess). Well, I stumbled on what I think is the original cut of the film and pulled out the best bits for prosperity. This is more or less a televised stage play, with Julie Ege doing the brunt of the comedic nudity. The film is a farce and there are ENF moments and a host of other slapstick bits. |

I don't think this has ever happened before. I have just signed in and was about to post the exact same clip!!!
It has a certain resonance with me because when my wife was an amateur actress, her group put this play on and she had the Julie Ege part. Of course there was no out and out nudity the way there is in the film, but lots of girls were running round in their underwear on stage, and all of the men who worked with my wife were there on the Saturday night just to get a good look at her. |

After I posted I had a dig around for any pictures from my wife's performance as I am sure some were taken. No joy - but I did find a picture I took of her the night before at home. This is approximately what she was wearing on stage on the Saturday when all her work colleagues showed up. Apart from those guys - you are all the first to see this.
