There's about 8 minutes of dead air in the original. I deleted that and highlighted the interesting part.

First, thank you both for your efforts. I am not saying that either version is better. I will say that I have always liked to see things like the whole lead-in (even if it's boring), and the version that is edited as it is supposed to air. For example, way back when, there was a vid of... the exact name eludes me now, s.t. like "kaylies234." This gal did a "topless vlog" where she called everybody asshats for a few minutes. The first video that circulated was around ten minutes, with the first couple minutes being the "as intended" release, followed by 5 minutes of black, and finally the vlog again, but this time it included the 5 seconds of lead in and lead out where she was uncovered. Soon the long version winnowed away, and now what circulates is mostly the stripped down version, (forgive me :) ). I really preferred the long version. (Incidentally, I lost that long video, and it would fit this thread well. If anyone has it, and would like to repost, I'd be happy to hit the "thanks" button. :) ).
Thanks again for your posts, folks. It is nice to have both the long & boring, and the quick & to the point versions for folks' different preferences.
