Stripping for Russ Presidency - From Norway
 

A few go all the way in the race for russ presidency, like the 19-year old girl who stripped in front of the student body at Atlanten High School in Kristiansund two weeks ago.

What she probably didn’t expect was digital camcorders among the audiene and that the performance would spread like wildfire on the internet.

Yeah, you know what, I think you're right about this. Its not just Lexx though, because somebody else did this just last week in about 30 threads, so we shouldn't single Lexx out. But its very frustrating to see new activity in all these different threads, only to click on them and see its just the same person saying "cool thx" over and over again.

I mean its like a Catch-22. On one hand its nice to see the people who contribute to threads getting some appreciation (I myself could stand to contribute a LOT more and I could also throw a bunch more thank you's out, especially to guys like TtTisMyHero and thenfreedom, whose efforts are, along with many other contributors, GREATLY appreciated), so you don't want to snap at somebody just for being polite and appreciative. But on the other hand, posting thank you's all at once in so many different threads is overkill. A "cool thx" doesn't really add anything to a thread, and it only really serves to get people's hopes up, thinking there are new pictures in a great thread only to be disappointed when they see nothing added at all. A handful of thank you's here and there is fine, but don't overdo it.

This is all just my opinion though. I'm in no way any kind of authority, and anyone else is free to disagree with me.

Damn. This is the most articulate and eloquent explanation of the replying "catch-22" (as you put it) that I've ever read. It's very true. In fact, it's so articulate, I think I will add it to my infamous "Helpful Tips for New Posters" post.

Its the type of board that's used. its a question of do you want a cleaner looking board to post or can you read a more cluttered board (i.e. craigslist) where you can see every single post. I prefer this type myself. Cluttered boards drive my eyes and brain nuts.
