Ever been "tattled on" While Voyeuring?
This just happened to me. Here's the story: I had a borrowed camcorder from a friend to see what I could record on the street, and I noticed a girl with some really short shorts, so naturally I followed with my camera. After about a block (short one) of tailing and recording, I decided to stop at the corner and basically head back where I came from. As I stopped, I noticed a guy walking briskly pass me and smiling to himself. I waited at the corner till I was ready to cross the street and noticed that that same guy had caught up with the girl I was voyeuring, and was now 30 feet away from me. I was actually out of view and completely blocked away from any eyes while this was happening so it hadn't occurred to me what was going on. I only found out when I stepped out a little to cross and saw him with my subject. From what it looked like, he appeared to be tattle telling on me, but I had already stopped what I was doing and was quite a distance away, although still close enough that they could see me. Maybe she believed him, but I didn't stick around to find out, and I didn't turn back after my intial look.
Needless to say, my initial reaction was utter confusion. The guy (very creepy looking fyi) lost any opportunity to bust me, but still went ahead and "tattled" anyway. It seemed to me that he was more interested in telling the girl that someone was videotaping her nice ass. I can't imagine what he got out of that other than an awkward acknowledgement at best. This was not a case of a girl who's skirt was tucked under her backpack and was flashing people unintentionally. I doubt he'll be looked at as anything other than a creep himself. If anything bringing this to her attention only it makes it worse for the subject because he's literally embarrassing her by telling her this.
This brought me to my next realization. If this guy was willing to make an idiot out of himself in this manner, what else he was willing to do? I actually thought he might run after me and try and sn*tch the camera from my hand or something. Maybe even start yelling and pointing, etc. Anything like this happen to anyone while voyeuring? What do you think of this situation?
