I was very happy with AFF from 2002ish through 2006ish, while I was doing lots of moving around, state to state. I don't think I've logged into my account in a couple years, though, since the spams and fake profiles got to dominate the site. It became hard to find a "real" person.

I totally agree with that and it only takes one to really ruin your outlook on it too. It is one thing to offend the male part of a couple, but when you offend the female you pretty much can ruin someone else's lifestyle if it is bad enough that the wife/gf does not want to chance it again. The Aff is a good starting point for your quest provided of course you tolerate the followig:
1. An increased level of spam and junk mail.

4. People exhibiting a very challenging and challenged skillset related to proper spelling and syntax.
5. Couples that are not fully or mutually committed to the idea of including others in their trysts.
I met some interesting and fun people there, both couples and women. My only advice would be to be as genuine as possible when describbing yourself and to try not to get disappointed or angry when you come across the categories listed above. Also don't confuse being clear about what you want (or like doing) with crudeness or crassness.
