This was, what, 30 years ago? It's interesting how attitudes have clearly changed in that time. She goes topless in public and on TV(?) and frets about parental disapproval. Now, though, girls barely out of their teens are posing fully nude, in sometimes sexual situations, getting pregnant, having babies or miscarriages or abortions, tweeting it all, having it splashed across the front page of 'news' papers, using the media to further a career in nothing other than their ability to act like skanks, and call it a 'career move'.
Erica Roe brightened our day, and our papers, for a brief moment in 1982. Katie Walsh/Jordan, on the other hand, is just a depressing exercise in self-promotion and the culture of going a long distance on no talent whatsoever and lacking any element of sexuality.
Nice to see Erica's pix again, though.
According to wiki she was working in a bookstore at the time but she, her husband and children, have since relocated to Portugal where they're organic sweet potato farmers. No jokes, please, about Erica's sweet potatoes!:D |
