This one's a TRUE holy grail. The clip is from; Laugh-In (the Nixon episode, no less), and how it got past the censors, is beyond me. First, Judy Carne's dress is ripped off, then, quite unexpectedly, her slip blows up, exposing the crotch of her pantyhose. I'm almost certian that she isn't wearing panties, making this the first flash of pubic hair ever seen on US television. Unfortunatly, the clip isn't clear enough to tell. We NEED to find this in better quality. Credit to the original uploader.

I can't be sure, but considering the era of that video, I would think that if her pubic hair were visible, there would be a great deal more of it. Otherwise, should would be at least partially shaven, and that was not stylish in the 70s.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I came across DVD quality copies of the Laugh In shows! I skimmed through and found the Judy Carne skit, and a couple other keepers. Not sure about the panties, but in higher quality its very obvious she is not wearing a bra!

From what I read, she absolutely hated doing these skits. So after the first few she was openly complaining during the skit. And by Season 2 they stopped completely. It seems like the producers held a grudge against her after that. Although she was one of the faces of the show, her appearances were fewer. She would only appear to read lines, or be the butt of the joke during a skit (calling her ugly, saying she looked like a boy, etc). By the end of season 3, she was off the show completely, replaced by a slew of nameless models.
