Bare to Breakers is the official "naturist contingent" within the Bay to Breakers race. Other nudes run also, but the Bare to Breakers group wear yellow hats and sort of stick together.

Regarding the Bay to Breakers, i was wondering who is sponsoring this event yet and what that means for the future of this event and the rules for joining the Bay to Breakers.
In the past, the US subsidiary of the Dutch ING bank was the main sponsor of this event and like a majority of the Dutch (including myself :D) they were very tolerant about the public nudity in the event.
But recently the Dutch ING bank had to sell this division (ING Direct) in order to get a green light from the European Union Commission to recieve financial support.
I can imagine that some company's will not be associated with events with public nudity in it.

It hasn't been The ING Bay to Breakers for a couple years. It was the Zazzle Bay to Breakers this year. People still got naked. It was fine.
