No issues here.

Faster upload for some reason, and easier to select multiple files.

The 10 limit is still good, it would ruin the concept if that were changed.

The uploads did seem a bit faster, which is always a good thing!

It doesn't "hold" the folder you're working from. I clicked my way down to the folder and uploaded this week's pics to the ENF section, but when I went to upload the trailer in the sexy videos section I had to drill down again. The basic uploader kept you in the folder you were working from, so I have to toss a point to tradition. ;)

Seeing the thumbnail files in the uploader window is nice, but it seems a little redundant due to the 15-minute window for editing the post.

I'd say the faster speed, or at least its appearance, in the new uploader makes up for any tiny perceived flaws. I'd give it a solid "A". :D

that seems to be my only problem to the drilling

I'm guessing it's an Adobe Flash issue that we may not have control over, but I'll look into this.

Thanks for the feedback,

I had a strange issue when trying both upload managers just now while posting pics in the following link

https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/show...&postcount=662

1: When the pics were downloaded they were all in uppercase. The advanced file manager was not able to recognise .JPG extensions. With the browse button open if I renamed the file to .jpg I could see the browsed folder populating with the file the second I renamed it.

2: With the extension now renamed to .jpg I uploaded but got an error message. This seems to be a result of the original file names not being in English. I renamed the files to 1, 2, 3, etc and they uploaded without issue.

For reference one of the original file names was: ИГОРЬ+ГРЕЙС+2012+БАЛАКЛАВА+ТАРХАНКУТ+(82) (copy).JPG

The files opened without issue on my system. For reference, I am using Linux but I do not think that was the issue as I have always been using it since I joined the site and have not had any issues before now.

It is worth noting that of the 5 or so files I uploaded, only two were recognised using the basic manager. All were recognised after a full renaming. The basic manager did not distinguish between .JPG and .jpg

good but...

it is nice to upload multiple images from the computer but the old version allowed upload from url....the new one doesnt?
being able to paste a list of 10 urls at once would be a nice feature..

I just used the advanced version for the first time. I selected 8 files from my browser window to upload using the 'ctrl' key and 'click' method. I like the ability to select multiple files BUT it posted the last selected file first and the remaining files in order. Is this normal? Is it something I can control, possibly re-organize after the post in 'edit'?

There is still a limit of 10 attachments per post.

Great addition. May I ask though why the limit is only 10?

Seems very low for a board of this size.

I ask because I recently added 50 photos to a thread and apart from it not only of course taking 5 posts to get them all on I also pretty much took other the original posters thread in doing so and because 5 posts meant it would now spill over to page two people may lose out on seeing great content on the previous posts because of it.

i think keeping posts limited to 10 makes pages manageable, you expect to turn the page at a certan point and to be honest we are all used to formatting our posts for 10 (selecting images, etc.).

having said that, the idea of having 10 be the limit per filetype is tempting, for example one could have 10 images plus a video, zip or some combination of that nature.

my wish is for small gifs and images (i forget the width/height limit) to not upload in a separate box, and for pngs to be accepted, that would be a great fix, otherwise i have no complaints.
