New poster, right way to attach pictures to posts

Hello, I was looking for a little insite on the correct way to add photos to a post. I would like to start posting here but when I try it just attaches the photos at the bottem of the post. I would like them to be the "preview" like most other peoples posts.

Not really sure what you're asking. If the pictures are too small, they'll just attach at the bottom of the post, because they're small enough to not need thumbnails, so the forum software won't create thumbnails for them.

That pretty much answered that question. I went to make my first post and did a post preview. It did not make the thumbnails. The pictures are large but I just figured the "preview post" would not write the html to make the thumbs. Didn't want to screw up a good thread with an idiot post, thanks.

shortchevy, there's also a post testing area, where you can try it out first if you want to make sure it's correct.
