Thanks for all the great posts.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone else had problems playing .flv files lately. RealPlayer used to play ALL of them without exception, but lately I'm running into a lot of .flv files that RealPlayer will not play correctly.

I don't use realplayer so I cannot speak to it's playing compatibility I use GOM player it's a free download and it plays all files except .mov and every once and awhile has a problems with flvs, i use flvplayer for that, again a free download, hope this helps.

GOM player for windows works well along with VLC from Videolan.org which works agross multiple OS's (I am on Ubuntu linux). Both are free. I have not used Realplayer in years.
