Videos on mobile devices
Has anyone else been having the same problem that I am having? When I am on my mobile browser (Galaxy S9 Chrome) and click on a video from a thread, I am taken to a new page but there is no video preview frame.

I've also noticed there doesn't seem to be playable videos any more. Currently using the same phone as yourself.

I'm looking for an update to this as well. You are forced to download the video, versus simply playing them. Any ideas?

In Chrome. In the upper righthand corner on mobile devices there are three vertical dots. Click those dots. A dropdown will appear with a checkbox that says "Desktop site". Select the desktop site option. At this point the preview should appear, and you should be able to play the video. The caveat is the site will be incorrectly formatted for mobile.
This isn't really an issue with the phone or phone's software. This is basically a problem with the website attempting to serve different pages to desktop and mobile clients. |
