I am retiring from OCC or at least from taking photos at public nudity events, and want to share with you all my reasons and thoughts about my time spent here.

I am diagnosed with an autistic spectrum disorder, and have a severe speech disturbance. Also, I do not process speech well. Because of this, I cannot have normal relationships. As a substitute for a real life, I created a world here at OCC centered around public nudity, and went way beyond what a normal person would do in the way of effort put into it.
This world grabbed hold of me and it was all I thought about for years. The rest of my life suffered dearly as a result, and the consequences of that are now becoming apparent. My addiction was like any other addiction, and now it is time to come clean.

I am not sorry about spending time here (just the sheer volume of time) and I have made many friends throughout the years. But it does concern me that my photos were posted to what most consider to be a porn site. I never intended to post pics to a porn site, only to a site that has a discussion forum format. OCC has that, and so I joined and stayed. The rest was history.

But today, I look back and see how much I went overboard in promoting, talking about and encouraging public nudity events and public nudity photography. It was ill advised. I feel like visiting the websites of the Fremont solstice cyclists, the Oregon Country Fair and the Portland WNBR to express my regrets.

Pics are fine and travel freely around the net. We all know that OCC is really just a dumping ground for pics posted wherever and whenever. But to also talk so openly about the events that I cover as well as other events around the world with the idea of entertaining everyone here - I would not do this again. Publicity and entertainment through my writings is what I regret the most now. Let the pics speak for themselves, and also allow those events that really want obscurity to have it.

And so I will retire, and probably not return to read any replies to this post. In fact, I would probably prefer it if no one replies. People change. I've changed. Lets just leave it at that. Once again, I've made many friends here and those memories are ones I will always cherish. OCC is a great, well run site. I bid you all farewell and wish you all the best.
