This news makes me very happy!!!!
Because i'm just leaving next saturday to Koversada for almost 2 weeks holiday!!
Now i want/need some advice if someone can given.
-I use/have a common Samsung WB 600 camera, i hope that will be sufficient.
-How are the public transport connections to Koversada and/or Vrsar, also on sunday?
-I'm arriving on sunday the 28th by train in the morning. The train stops in Kanfanar at 10.16 hrs local time and arrive in Pula at 10.44 hrs local time. Can someone tell me what is easier, go to Pula and then to Koversada or go to Kanfanar and take a cab/taxi to Koversada.
-How expensive are Cabs/taxis there?
-Anybody eperience with travelling to Koversada?

I know from the past that it takes place in the first week of August. So the 3rd August is very possible for this event.

Was there with my gf on saturday. unfortunately she didnt want to participate bud i managed to make her walk thru the camp in high heel for some 8min and more(i know cause i videotaped her).......anyways was there by day and i dont know what it was but during the day it seemed they had like a rehearsal ,the women walked there in categories 12-18,18-35-35-45....Im most interested in 18-35 category if anyone took any pictures???
i was on the island at the time so could take any but i saw some girls coming back to the island with medals and trophies..

Just came back yesterday/saturday from my vacation and will later today start with story and several pics. But first needs some very good sleep after a terrible night in a Croatian nighttrain to Munich, due to more than 60 minutes delay and a Croatian man who was snoring very loud all night long.

Hi Krispy i was in koversada for 2 weeks and i seen miss koversada competition,whilst it is always a fun day and night and there were originally 15 gorgeous girls in show( 1 dropped out after 1st round) this year was a bit tamer than usual and only i think 8 of the 14 finalists went fully nude and even then not for that long compared to previous years.

I think the events you are referring to during the day were the swimming competitions an which there are are least 2 different age related events and the winners get medals for that ,that takes place early afternoon.

i think all of girls in competition ranged in ages from 18 to 25 although i think there was one girl a bit older but who still looked gorgeous,i would say a lot of them were about 19 to 22,i think winner was from czech republic and had a huge support with a a bunch of people who had a banner with her name on it :-).

I really liked the girl from italy who was second and other competitors were from Germany,ukraine,slovenia,croatia and i think maybe netherlands as well as the countries i mentioned previously.
