The Worst Enf Tease Ever
I just watched Thor: Love and Thunder. If you've seen the trailer you know that Zeus says 'let's see who you really are' and flicks off Thor's clothes, leaving him naked. Then it shows Valkyrie and Jane enjoying the show, but then Zeus notices them. He says something about seeing who your friends really are, and moves his hand to flick off Jane and Valkyrie's clothes. The pair freak, stand up and rip off their disguises.
This was probably the worst ENF tease I've seen. Two gorgeous actresses were about to get stripped... and then didn't. Very nearly a top all time ENF scene, what a bummer! |

It was the first Marvel movie with nudity. In fact there was a naked man in the scene. I guess some equal opportunity nudity, with a little something for everyone, would be too much to ask for.

yeah, sadly that will never happen as long as family-friendly, (masculine) man-hating Disney own the rights to produce Marvel movies. This is one of the reasons I hate the idea of Disney owning damn near everything at this point.

It's not just Disney, most entertainment companies fall under the hegemony of "woke" 3rd wave feminism, in which objectifying and humiliating a woman (any woman) is obviously always considered bad. But objectifying and humiliating a man is seen as an "inversion of the patriarchy," so in their minds the double-standard is justified. Gender parity/equality will not come until the woke hegemony is dissolved, in the meantime it will only be seen outside of mainstream entertainment. It's not necessarily easy to do, but maybe it's time for people who don't like it to create their own content.

Whatever the reason it's totally lame. It's not like Marvel doesn't know how to use sex appeal: whenever Black Widow is on screen the camera is glued to her ass. For this scene it would have been both funny and hot to take things to their logical conclusion. \ |

The history of cinema shows that any halfway competent film maker can find a "compelling" narrative or artistic reason (even an apparently woke feminist one) to get women's clothes off. I think the censorship is to do with appealing to particular markets/demographics/countries/target certification - market forces. |

Yeah, it was super funny with a lot of laugh out loud jokes and the action was really good. Christian Bale was a great villain, though he needed to be in the movie more.
