The actual dance critics were not impressed with the dancing: theaterscene.net/dance/to-come-extended/victor-gluck/. I guess if you're not there specifically to see vaginas, the show may not be as interesting. |

I have a feeling there may never be many images released from this production (especially the parts that include nudity). They often have a ban on all photography during these performances, and I think the one photo that has surfaced hints that this is most likely the case here.
But! you never know - I could turn out to be wrong about this

In the beginning, there was Ida Rubenstein, legendary Russian Ballet dancer, muse of Serge Diaghilev, who created a sensation in Paris at the beginning of the 20th century through her charisma, beauty, and fiery presence. In Salomé by Oscar Wilde, the dancer stripped off her costume - the famous dance of the seven veils! - And bared herself completely. Immediate triumph and reputation. Through this liberating and provocative act, Ida Rubinstein entered into the history of dance.
One century later, Lara Barsacq goes in search of the muse, who is a flawless source of inspiration for her. On stage, three artists celebrate the memory, glory, and absence of Ida. Blending the historical and trivial, the grandiose and absurd, personal memories and archives, Lara Barsacq, the great grand-niece of Léon Bakst, the brilliant painter and Russian Ballet set designer, composed an ode to freedom and to the protective figures who inspire energy and audacity. It is a hymn to poetry and dance as an invention of the self. Lara Barsacq, Marta Capaccioli, Elisa Yvelin Last edited by clairwill; 12-05-2019 at 02:14 AM. |

Anybody in Bern? There's a new piece where the actresses apparently get naked on stage.
'Die Regisseurin und Intendantin des Theater Rampe, Marie Bues, zieht in ihrer neuen Inszenierung Frauen die Haut ab und lässt sie nackt und mutig in die Zukunft springen. Von historischen Stereotypen zu „Girls run the world?“.' https://www.szenik.eu/de/event/frau-...ndet-versionen |

All the Good is a story with a double autobiographical background: on the one hand, Elik’s life, and on the other, Lauwers’ life with Grace Ellen Barkey and their children – in a house and workspace in the maligned Molenbeek. Ever-present death mercilessly intrudes on their lives constantly, both in the safety of their home and in the outside world. All the Good is also the story of the young girl Romy, who is convinced that the world is good. During a trip in China, she meets Elik while throwing up in an alleyway after drinking snake blood. The meeting changes her life.
All the Good is about loss and hope. It is a love story in an age in which Europe is throwing its values to the wind and a growing group of people is being seduced by hate and intolerance. On stage only pregnant Romy Louise Lauwers gets naked - you see her tits, but she keeps her panties on (even when she takes them off, you can't see much, as she's running all the time and is covered by ribbons). At some moment she inserts a camera into her vagina and you see the projection of her insides on the screen! For Inge Van Bruystegem you can only see her nipples poking through her top and there is a scene where she is ra*pe*d without much to see. Finally, for Grace Ellen Barkey you can see her only spreading with her pussy in full view, albeit covered by her panties... |

The Hair musical is coming to the Boston area from Jan 26 - Feb 23.
newrep.org/productions/hair-the-american-tribal-love-rock-musical/ Some of the actresses are really attractive. I'd imagine I'm not the only one who would love to know what this girl's naked body looks like. Anyone able to go towards the beginning of the run? I may be down in Boston towards the end of the run and might be able to go, but I'd love to know if the nudity is good and well lit. |

If anyone is in Los Angeles, Courtney Pauroso's show Gutterplum, which she did at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, is going to be performed at the Lyric Hyperion on January 29.
