BTW, is there a forum or thread discussing technique for beach photos? Couldn't find one in the search. I'd love to share technique and learn from others too, so that we can do better when we get back on the beach when lockdown is over.

I got a new SONY camera for this summer which I hope will give a good account of itself.
It's a compact with 30x zoom and built in WiFi so you can operate it with a phone. So you can look like it's not being used or is hidden but is actually being controlled by the phone.
Might be a folly, but I wanted a compact with a good zoom in any case and for �65 ($100) second hand (they are �200 new) I figured worth a punt.
