thanks for the pics. I'm a little confused, but you are probably right since those pics WERE taken on June 14th although the caption at flickr makes no mention of WNBR, only "Joustdown" which is a separate event entirely.

I've seen other pics from Joustdown, and there is nudity there also, but so far, only men that I've seen.

now wait - this is where it gets confusing. Here is another pic which I think is from joustdown. There's a topless women, but people are just sitting around watching something which you wouldn't see at a WNBR.

I think its safe to say Pedalpalooza can gey naked outside of the WNBR, but mass nudity is not likely, so pics like those in the park above are WNBR like you say.

EDIT: Joustdown and WNBR were apparently held on the same day, and if the WNBR ended at Colonel Sanders Park, then the two would have coincided both in time and place. The second pic I posted above is in the same "joustdown" gallery as the one below. So........could it be we are BOTH right?

In the first pic you posted, bikers are streaming towards a crowd, possibly the crowd watching the jousting. What I'm picturing is folks getting off their bikes and not necessarily getting dressed right away. In otherwords, we're talking about nudity continuing after the bike ride, and that is pretty awesome for a city park in broad daylight.

BTW - many of the men at Joustdown joust in the nude. I have not seen any pics of women jousting, but if any do, AND they do it naked, we are talking about a major public nudity happening in America. Anyone care to find me pics of female jousters at Portland's Pedalpalooza Joustdown?

Right, the ride did end at Colonel Sanders Park at the "Joustdown" event. The only people that were naked were the folks from the nude bike ride that crashed the party, and they took there sweet time getting dressed.

As we are now at the point where searches for "west fest" will begin to be swamped with pictures like the first here, from Fantasy FEST in Key WEST (not to say those are without plenty of appeal!) I wanted to note that there was an event, commemorating the 40th anniversary of Woodstock, just recently held in SF, where pictures 2 and 3 were taken (and where therefore I presume other images of the same woman, perhaps where she fills more of the frame, were also made). Finally, to reprise what OCC members might hold most dear about the original, pictures 4 and 5.

Love the girl at the Woodstock revival!

She looks Indian, (the country, not native american BTW

) by her skin colour, very rare to get NIP from that part of the world. There was an Indian girl at the Brighton WNBR who got fully naked at the beach party afterwards, to me, that was pretty hot, because it is so rare.
