Any idea why if you see photos of native Amazonas girls (usually wearing "uluri") their labia minora is never visible?

They are everytime shaved or plucked, so labia should be sometime visible. Cutted??

I've never heard of Xingu practicing genital mutilation, but I suppose it's possible. However, I think the explanation is that despite appearances, they aren't completely bottomless. The band they were around their waist attaches to a extremely thin thong-like strip, which appears to be worn extremely tight, and likely serves to keep everything tucked.

The videos showing the uluri being worn are, for some reason, kept at a modest level. I think the string going between the vulva does tend to keep the labia inside the cleft, as the women call it some sort of chastity belt. Even the videos showing the women wrestling other women have them wear regular bikini bottoms. I've seen only one video of completely naked women wrestling, but it is not a good resolution type, and nothing can be made out as the women roll around. Maybe a good, sharp video will eventually turn up, but as to the labia, I've never heard the commentators mention any mutilation, and the female vulva is prominently carved, with labia present, and painted, as part of some ceremony. Just search for "naked Amazon Indian" videos, and plenty will pop up.
