Question as I have no idea. What is Sweden like in terms of saunas. I ask as my wife may be going there and wishes to visit a sauna when she's there. Will she need to be naked? And will it be mixed sex?

Thanks for the advice.
What about V. in Berlin? I read it is mandatory to wear a robe to walk around the facility. Does this make for a worse experience than TE or other centers? Is this actually enforced? Thanks |

The rules of both state that it is mandatory. How real is it, that could only be said by the visitors themselves? I think the Germans have decided since 2017 that a robe or towel is mandatory. They probably wanted to make a difference between a "nudist center" and a sauna. |

The Vabali wants to be "international style". German places like the Kristalltherme clearly say they are Textilfrei (no clothing), with exception of when sitting in the restaurants. |

In my experience the public saunas in Munich are worth a visit. Like everything the time of day can change who and what you see. TE requires plenty of time to do it justice although it's worth it.

Yes, you're right. I found some articles about debates in "parliament", but apparently nothing of the sort. Everyone has their own rules. But does anyone have experience with the thermal baths in Kassel? Are there any saunas there at all? 1001 Nights looks just like a "lying" area. Pools, restaurant,..... |
