KY woman charged with running naked through parking lot

Deputies in Laurel County say they were investigating a noise complaint when they found a naked womanrunning around in a parking lot.

According to a release from the sheriff's department, Deputy Craig Sutton and Deputy Cody Faulconer arrested Jessica Birchfield, 21, Monday afternoon off US 25, 10 miles south of London.

Deputies received a complaint about a woman who was sitting naked outside of a motel in Corbin. When the deputies arrived, they saw Birchfield jumping up and down and running around the parking lot. They had Birchfield put on clothes and then conducted an investigation determining that she was under the influence.

Birchfield was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances; disorderly conduct and indecent exposure. She was booked at the Laurel County detention Center.
