I’m sure the website uses the stuff after the “?” for something, but you can get to the picture without any of it:

yeah, but its a low res image. You can actually see something in those pictures if you edit the levels.
But in high res, it would add a lot more definition. I dont feel like paying for it though.
We need to set up an OCC users fund for this kind of stuff

There are 1000s of photographers taking pics along the routes so anybody taking part does so with the knowledge that they're going to get snapped (unless they're incredibly naive).

The other potential issue that I can see that may be turning people off from taking part in the WNBR is what happens to the images once they are processed and ready to be revealed to the world. I love to show off my pics but not everybody feels the same way. Anybody taking part must realistically accept that images will appear online (hence disguises perhaps for some) but I think sometimes things get a bit out of hand and the potential implications could prove too much for some. The prospect of trying to establish true identities and inappropriate commentary are things that potential WNBR riders never quite anticipated when they signed up to participate. If images were merely viewed, shared and appreciated without all of the weird stuff I'm sure a LOT more people (female riders) would be happier to participate.

My experience has been fantastically positive and I appreciate the support but I am perhaps coming from a different place where I love to be photographed and love to have people see the results...respect, politeness and general decency is all I ask for.

Well, we will be attending our first nude event this year, it will be the Finnish naked race "NAKKUKYMPPI", there are alot less participents and alot less photographers than for ex the london WNBR. And we also plan on going to the Brighton wnbr, and lets face it, my fiance is one hot 39 YO mother of 2, and she will certainly get photographed over and over again, this is acutally something that might put us off from this event.

Neither her or I are the least bit shy, we are nudists whenever possbile, and this photo was taken outside a nudist camping in Sweden, then i photoshopped it a bit as a poster for the Nakkukymppi, she is Finnish and i am Swedish and we have really been looking forward to join some nude races. BUT, there is this factor of too much photos getting spread in the wrong way on the net....

The nude run in Padasjoki won't be a problem. As you probably know, it's off the beaten track, only about 3,000 people live there, and a lot of the race is in woods and fields.
