I understand the need to remove posts when requested by those whom have been posted. That is fair enough. Yet in deleting the post the record of who is not to be posted is lost, and therefore there is a greater chance that the next unsuspecting person (newbie or not) could unwittingly request the same person again (and again, and again ...)

It would be handy to have a register of ladies not to be posted, yet in doing so we would effectively not be following their wishes of not being posted.

As I said, a conundrum.

Believe me when I tell you that the scenario of which you speak happens all the time. It's just something the mods have to live with.

The idea of posting at least head-shots of the Do Not Post list has been floated before but rejected for several reasons.

First, the aforementioned conundrum.

Second, there would be few people who would use that information for less than admirable purposes.

Third, basic human nature. Few people read the rules before they post here. What makes us think they would check a list before they post? If you only knew how many PMs I have to send EVERY DAY to members telling them they violated the rules in some way, a link to those rules, and advising them to read them.

When you see a post of yours has been edited, read the mod note at the bottom. More times than not, there will be a reason given. If you pay attention to what you post, you should be able to figure out what picture was removed.

On a similar note, mods are not obligated to edit a post if part of that post violates the rules. We do not have to be that generous. It's easier and faster just to delete the whole thing. When we edit, it's our choice, and to your benefit.
