What an intriguing find. reminds me of a couple things.

Our neighbors across the street have a very old house. The bedrooms are all upstairs and there’s only one bathroom. It has a large frosted window. I wouldn't ask unless the stars aligned perfectly, but I wish I could.

There would be no reason for me to be positioned to check for myself. There isn't much space between houses, and their fireplace chimney blocks the view from the street, and garages block the view from the alley. Only way to tell would to be in the neighbor's house or between houses again with a purpose.

This reminds me of an incident with my ex-girlfriend in the shower of an old apartment we once rented.

The apartment had a big window in the bathroom. The previous inhabitant had left the window blinds (not sure if it's the correct English word, see picture) and that prevented people from looking when we were taking a shower.
