In my experience, you speak the truth. Unfortunately, after 4 kids and 36 years of marriage, I am too tired to change the status quo. That, plus I am not up to the task of splitting assets acquired over half my lifetime. I go to the gym, work out , and hope I can outlive her so that maybe someday, a merciful God will send me someone that is more enthusiastic about experiencing new things.
