Everyone loves to use COVID as an excuse not to do things anymore. It's why seasons of T.V. shows are all like 10 episodes now. Talk about silly.

First of all, these are not 'smut'. These cheeky and sexy but they are made by normal students who aren't interested in that kind of thing.

Second, I do find it interesting that vets seem to be so willing to undress in public, this is something repeated in most countries. Jung could probably explain it but I doubt any of us could.

Third, why complain about more of a good thing? I'm pretty miffed that almost all UK calendars have gone offline or are exclusively sold within the uni. I would much rather we had more diversity of output than less.

The "smut" comment and the "too much of a good thing" comment were meant to be humorous/facetious statements, not to be taken literally, which I suppose they were to some. What I mean(t) to say is that I do not want fewer vet calendar/photo shoots, I'd prefer that there were actually more. But I also wish other groups and organizations would also get in on the fun.

If you look back through the years of posts on this thread, you see a much more even distribution and diversity of groups making calendars. In recent years the content of the thread seems to have changed and has been dominated by the veterinarians. I'm new to the forum and was just curious why. I now have a little more insight thanks to some helpful responses..

while admitting that the v*ets are doing the most public and highest quality calendars presently, it's not necessarily true that all the other calendars disappeared.

some have, definitely. nuxbc rowing was reliable for awhile as an example and they sold publically.

however here's the actual facts: most calendars never were sold publically. and most calendars eventually fade out (pruxdent stuxdent anyone?...grexen is sexy from lacrosse?)

i'm aware of calendars that still exist that aren't posted here that are fairly hard to obtain. and when I made the mistake of mentioning this a year or two ago I was flooded with dm's so let me be clear: do not dm me about them. I'll only take dm's on this topic from those who have been around forever. do you have the credit of fango? no? then don't message me with your 13 post history sorry I'm just being clear.

now here's what has really happened. social media changed. meta made it such that searching for hashtags related to calendars is near impossible now. we rarely discover "hidden" calendars now because of this.

so let's keep some things in mind: 1. this is not a discussion forum so let's wrap this up or the mods will just go delete it all anyway 2. the less that is posted openly the better. that's just how it is. buy as many calendars as you can (possibly hard this year if you are subject to Trump's tariffs) for your own personal use 3. start searching differently. I mean right now there are calendars that exist that no one is posting while discussing how there are no other calendars so here I'll post one right now
