I have done it and have been groped, and that was not a good experience for my poor nipples as the one groping you are not the most "respectful" ones, forgetting our nipples are not punching balls.

Groping isn't cool. If I was so inclined I'd just ask and get consent. Personally I'd just appreciate the aesthetics and expression and go from there.
