I have shared this it another thread but fits perfect here. When when lived in Florida my wife had to have a new swimsuit so we went shopping and she picked out a white one piece playboy suit. She was not happy I didn't tell her for such a long time. She wore it to lay out but never swam in it again. I bought her a new one a few years ago as a birthday present for myself, she wore it once in our pool with just the 2 of us.

Breaking through that barrier can takes years of gentle encouragement to overcome years of "conditioning." Have been down that road and it is slow going. Is a year round effort of subtle compliments and suggesting more risque clothing when shopping with the wife, and buying some items you know she would look great in and ask her to wear them for special occassions, both at home and going out. Baby steps seems to be the best way...

I agree....it took me 10 years to finally get my wife to let her hair down and forget about what society tells her she should be and should wear.
Once she did....WOW....hang on tight, what a ride. We are going on a cruise in a couple weeks and we intend on filling up the cards in our camera with mostly pics of her and a few videos of us going at it.
