No secrets from my wife! Not worth the fallout if something hits the fan later. And, yeah, I definitely do pick my battles with her wisely. The only time it gets frustrating is when I don't do something or pass something up because I know she would be upset, yet later she tells me I should have done whatever thing it was anyway. It's a confusing mess most of the time (which I also post about quite often).

Had a GREAT one happen last night. People often send me PMs asking how so many "interesting" things happen, and I tell them the secret is simple: Make it happen whenever you can. Last night was definitely one of those "make it happen" moments.

My wife and I were at the new house painting a bunch of stuff, and I suggested painting naked because we were alone and it would be fun. She hesitated, saying how her brother was coming by later to help me install a light because it was too heavy for her to help me herself. I told her not to worry about it because he would have to call before walking in as we had the doors to the house locked while we were inside.

She eventually agreed to paint naked with me, mainly because I kept saying it would be romantic.

Well, immediately, she dribbled paint on herself from her shoulders to her legs, then she got really mad because she hates painting in the first place, and now she had paint on herself. She tried wiping it off, but when she got to her nipple it hurt too much, so I suggested that she take a bath for a bit.

She pointed out that we didn't have a shower curtain up yet, and I said you don't need a shower curtain for a bath. She asked about what to do if she were in the bath when her brother stopped by without a curtain. I said, "Well he can't see through a closed door as far as I know!" She had a "oh, ya, duh" look on her face and got into the bath.

Her brother called from the front door not 2 minutes later. I let him in and we got the light installed in literally less than 5 minutes.

He was about to leave and I heard my wife yelling from the bath for me to ask him all these questions about getting some old baby stuff to him and his new wife, etc.

I cracked open the door and said, "Why can't he just talk to you directly about it because most of it will get lost in translation if I am your go-between." She said, "Fine, send him in."

I about had a heart attack. I told him that he can go in and talk to her, and he didn't hesitate.

So for the next 10-15 minutes, my wife was in the bath with her brother standing there talking to her about coordinating getting his wife all this baby stuff. My wife's boobs totally on display, etc.

Then my wife said, "Oh, no! We don't have towels. I am getting cold, but how do I dry off?" Her brother said, "I have a bunch of shop towels in my truck if that works." My wife said, "What are those?" He said, "I will go get them and show you."

A moment later, he comes back with one of those huge boxes of "shop rags" and starts handing them to her. She was already standing next to the bath, totally naked, trying to dry herself off. He never took his eyes off her. She had the body language of "I am trying to be shy but this is sorta innocently fun" the whole time.

When she was mostly dry-ish, she put on her panties and bra and quickly walked around the corner into one of the rooms to finish getting dressed. (After he left, I asked her why she did that, and she said, "I was fine naked in front of him, but in my underwear and bra in front of him felt really uncomfortable." For some reason, I totally understand what she meant and how she felt.)

After she got dressed, we showed her brother the plans for the new house, then he left.

My wife watched him drive away and said, "Well, that was enough fun for one evening, holy toledo."

So, I guess my plan worked. I already knew her brother was stopping by, and I knew my wife and I were going to be alone, and I tried to come up with a plan to get her naked (painting with me) and I knew she would get paint on herself, so I knew I could get her into the bath. The rest was a crap-shoot, though. I know my wife will sometimes take on a challenge to prove how "brave" she is, and I know that she secretly likes when her brother sees her (see some of my posts about her daring pjs when he has stopped by before). So I put it all together like solving a math equation, and ta-da.

I didn't think it would go so well, but it was fun for all. Probably most fun for her even though she would never want to admit it out loud.
