A former private school teacher turned naked stand-up comic says it takes courage to perform nude — especially when the front row is made up of ex-pupils.

Glory Pearl, whose real name is Emma Mitchell, is bringing her show to London on November 18 as part of the Mimetic Festival at

The Vaults in Waterloo. Pearl, 43, gave up teaching nine years ago to work in advertising but said: “I kind of am a teacher at heart. I want people to feel better, be the best they can be and in a sense the show is saying that. Don’t spend all your time and money on your waistline.”

Of performing naked, she said: “It takes some guts to be honest, there were nights when I didn’t feel like going on stage.”

She added: “At Edinburgh one night the whole front row was pupils I taught at school. I saw this group of lads and thought this isn’t my usual demographic, but then I thought, well, they’ve paid, I’ve got to get on with this.”

Naked woman in cedar tree leads to meth dealer arrest

A call of a naked woman knocking on doors led to the arrest of her meth dealer, according to the Trinity County Sheriff.

Sheriff Woody Wallace said dispatch received a call around 6 a.m. of a naked woman beating on a door on French Road. Deputies responded but could not find anyone.

Wallace said a second call came an hour later and deputies responded again and found a naked woman sitting in a cedar tree. As they were coaxing her down, dispatchers received another call, this time of a naked man running around and knocking on doors in the same area. Wallace said they were able to round up both naked people, who happened to be in a dating relationship.

"We got them dressed and finally got them to admit they had been on some dope," Wallace said.

Very interesting, and nice to see. I would guess that those who are not as well endowed are under-represented here since it's voluntary; actually that seems obvious. Same thing happens with penis size surveys.

Watch naked woman walk to church in snowy Siberian town

his incredible video shows a naked woman walk barefoot through the snow and then bow repeatedly before entering church.

She can be seen carrying a crying baby, and wearing nothing but a purple turban, while others in the Siberian street protect themselves from the harsh temperatures in padded coats and woolly hats.

According to The Moscow Times the woman walked across the "oil capital" of Russia to a church to shed odd evil spirits.

The footage, which has gone viral, is captured by a passer-by on a mobile phone, and shows the woman bowing several times and crossing herself at the gates of the Orthodox church.

Naked woman spotted on Monrovia street ends up in hospital

MONROVIA - An unusual sight greeted passersby on Foothill Boulevard Thursday morning.

Monrovia police got a call at 5:15 a.m. about a woman running on the street without clothes on, Lt. Nels Ortland said.

He said the woman left her clothing on Norumbega Drive.

Firefighter took the naked woman to Methodist Hospital of Southern California for evaluation.

Police don’t know why she decided to shed her clothes and take a run in the buff.
