Naked Oregon woman climbs flagpole, wraps herself in flag: cops

A naked Portland woman who climbed a flagpole while a historic building burned nearby had nothing to do with the blaze, police said — even though she was holding a lighter and a fighter extinguisher.

Police said the unidentified 34-year-old may have been high on stimulants when she scaled the pole on top of a bank building Wednesday night.

Game of Thrones ENF scene cannot be filmed on site

The Game Of Thrones production team have reportedly been prohibited from shooting a crucial topless scene at its planned location in Croatian capital Dubrovnik.

Filming is currently well underway for the forthcoming fifth series of the hit HBO show, but a scene that required central character Cersei Lannister, played by Lena Headey, to leave a church walk through the streets of King’s Landing in the nude has been rejected by the city’s Church of St. Nicholas.

Billed as Cersei’s ‘walk of penance,’ the sequence was to be filmed in the Stradun street between Dubrovnik Cathedral and the Sponza Palace. But according to TMZ, the local film commission will not grant permission for the racy scene to be shot in Dubrovnik, portions of which double as the fictional citadel....

Despite setbacks the scene will remain very much a part of the shooting script because, according to TMZ, it has a pivotal place within the storyline and strong relevance to the original source material –George R.R. Martin’s novel A Dance With Dragons, the fifth of seven from his Song Of Fire And Ice series.

Slate.com: This Woman Took a Self-Portrait Every Year in Just Her Birthday Suit

A couple of decades ago, Lucy Hilmer found herself at J.C. Penney buying 60 pairs of lollipop underpants.

She wanted to make certain she wouldn’t run out of them.

In 1974, Hilmer, then 29 and wearing the somewhat gaudy undergarment, took the first of what would become a life-long series of self-portraits titled “Birthday Suits.” She has since added one more image to the series every April 22, her birthday, each time wearing only the underpants, shoes, and socks.

Hilmer wasn’t thinking about doing anything but having a little fun when she took that first shot. She traveled to Death Valley with a tripod to pay homage to Michelangelo Antonioni’s film Zabriskie Point by taking some shots of herself in various forms of undress including a few nudes.

“When I went back into my darkroom to look at the proof sheets, the picture I recognized as my true self was this sort of more vulnerable one in my dorky underpants I happened to have on that day,” she said.

Showing her true self is one of the inspirations behind “Birthday Suits.” At first, the pictures were a reaction to a career she had been encouraged to pursue in her younger days: working as a photographer’s model.

The woman sleeping naked on an agonising bed of iron wire for 36 days - all in the name of art

Had a bad night's sleep? Well try sleeping naked on a bed of iron wire for 36 days.

That's what Chinese female artist Zhou Jie has been doing for her art project, '36 Days'. She hasn't revealed why she is doing it, but crowds of Beijing art goers have been flocking to the Art Now Gallery to watch her 'perform'.

The exhibition, which began on August 9, will see the artist continue sleeping on an iron wire bed until September 13. In front of exhibition visitors, Zhou Jie will be doing daily activities like, eating, washing, using the bathroom and playing on her mobile.

The art project has attracted attention on an online Chinese publication, with locals questioning its artistic value.

Egypt feminist defecates on IS flag in the nude

A well known Egyptian social activist and blogger posted a photo to Facebook Saturday of herself and another unidentified woman defecating and menstruating on an Islamic State flag while in the nude, in what appears to be a protest against the Islamist terror group’s recent advances in northern Iraq and Syria.
Aliaa Magda Elmahdy did not specify why she posted the photo, though past controversies, such as a 2011 incident in which she posed in only stockings and red shoes for her blog — to protest against Egypt’s conservative culture — suggest that she was opposing the Islamic State terror group’s brutally restrictive and misogynistic ideology.
In the image, the 23-year-old feminist is seen facing the camera, while the other woman, dressed in a black hijab, has her back towards the viewer. Two presumably plastic machine guns are in the background, and the veiled woman is holding up her middle finger. The letters IS are inscribed on Elmahdy’s stomach and on the second woman’s bottom.

Apparently public nudity is legal in stuffy, conservative Kansas in case SirSeph or anyone wanted to film a public nudity video there!

Shawnee County Sheriff Herman Jones us according to the state statute, it is legal to walk around naked.

"Unless someone is exposing themselves or a sexual organ to gratify or arouse someone other than them self, it's really not anything against the law," said Jones.

"I'm confused! I'm like really baffled about it. I don't understand how is this okay," said Shamblin.

Thirteen news called several state legislators and only one was vaguely familiar with the state statue.

"If they weren't aware, you know there are so many laws, we know we have like 12 volumes, 20-some volumes of code, the criminal code is 21 dash whatever," said Ramon Gonzales Jr. "I think it should be reviewed, but you know if its freedom of expression, now you are getting into freedoms that we all share."

'Most Likely to Skinny Dip' racy photo in New Mexico high school yearbook raises eyebrows

est smile, most likely to succeed and most likely to skinny dip? A category in a high school yearbook is raising some eyebrows, but it’s the photo that goes along with it that is really stirring up controversy.

“It was kind of tasteless,” said Portales High School Senior Emilee Haman.

Another student called the photo inappropriate.

“It was kind of tacky,” said Senior Ashlynn Idsinga.

Those are just some of the opinions about a picture published in the Portales High School yearbook of what appears to be two students in the nude. Students picked up the 2014 issues last week and in the area where student awards were given out there’s a category called “Most Likely to Skinny Dip.” The pair of students chosen for the award are depicted in a picture where they appear to be naked, posing behind a tree.

“They were trying to be cute, trying to be humorous to a certain extent and it didn’t go over well with a certain fraction who saw the yearbook,” said Portales High School Assistant Principal Garrick Matthews.

Matthews says the district has received numerous complaints about the photo. He says the yearbook staff of about 20 students got the skinny dipping idea off the internet and then picked the winners. The yearbook staff and a teacher were the only ones who saw it before it was published.

“The intent behind it was never to paint the students in a negative light or paint the school in a negative light.” Matthews said.

According to some students it did put the school in a bad light.

“It was inappropriate to be a part in a yearbook to be remembered forever.” Haman said.

Another student didn’t think much of the photos.

“It was kind of funny, but it doesn’t offend me.” Portales High School Senior Matthew Sanchez said.

The district said from now on another set of eyes will be viewing the yearbook before it’s published.

“I can’t change it, but I can tell people were gonna try that those sort of things don’t happen in the future.” said Matthews.

Woman Busted For Motorcycle Pleasure Session

-Around 7 PM Saturday, cops in Ormond Beach, Florida received a 911 call from a woman reporting that “a white female in her 30s with a black and white dress was masturbating on a motorcycle.”

According to a charging affidavit, witness Katherine Marriott called police upon returning to her Pine Cone Trail residence with her juvenile son and a male adult. As she arrived home in her car, Marriott noticed a motorcycle pulled into the garage of a neighboring home.

“A half naked female was sitting backwards” on the motorcycle, Marriott told police, adding that the woman was facing the street. Which allowed Marriott, 39, to note that “the female was half naked, from the waist down and was masturbating.” The woman, she added, was “leaning backwards and her legs were spread apart.”

Another Pine Cone Trail resident, Nicholas McRay, told cops that he also saw the woman masturbating while sitting backwards on the motorcycle. McRay, 45, said that “there was kids around and he yelled at the Defendant to shut the door.” The woman, McRay added, “got up and shut the garage door.”

A subsequent police investigation identified the motorcycle rider as Karen Dilworth. A cop found the 50-year-old inside the garage in question. She was wearing a black and white dress. Dilworth’s ex-husband was inside the residence, but told police that he was unaware of what had allegedly transpired atop the motorcycle.

When questioned by a cop, Dilworth (seen above) denied masturbating inside the garage (or even being on the motorcycle). She claimed to only have been “smoking cigarettes and drinking some beers.” Dilworth, police noted, “appeared to be under the influence.”
