In a recent message, I posted a photo of nude Lisa Comshaw in a backbreaker applied by a brunette in a powder blue bikini. It is from a video produced by Double Trouble wrestling.

The brunette is Shannan Leigh, who has done quite a few matches for Double Trouble productions.

Here is how DT describes the CFNF Shannan-Lisa match in its on-line video catalogue:

"This starts out as a DT bikini match between Shannan Leigh and Lisa Comshaw, but things quickly turn out a bit barer for the hapless Lisa. Lisa is easily taken down in a test of strength, and Shannan quickly takes the lead, with Lisa being stripped totally of all her clothing and facing one humiliating assault after another. Shannan remains in her bikini the entire time as she relishes tormenting her crude and nude opponent. The defrocked Lisa is little more than Shannan’s naked prey and Lisa all but drowns in the tide of battle irrevocably turned against her."

Catfighting started to come into its own as a mainstream source of entertainment in the 1960s and '70s. Perhaps we can call those years the golden age of catfighting in Hollywood films.

Catfighting has been a popular scenario in films dating from the 1930s through the 1950s, But even the more popular catfights of the black and white film era, such as the one in Destry Rides Again (1939), featured little more than two women rolling around on th ground as men watched and laughed.

In the 1960s and '70s, the fights got much more imaginative with bare-fisted knockouts, and stripping -- all in magnificent technicolor.

With that in mind, I picked my 10 favorite catfight scenes involving some form of female nudity and humiliation from movies made from 1960 through 1979. I also have another Top 10 featuring CFCF fights.

Before we get to the Top 10 fights involving nudity -- including photos -- here briefly is my top 10 1960s through the 1970s filmed mainstream movie catfights that involved non nudity.

Because these fights do not feature ENF, the OCC board administrators will not allow me to post photos from these CFCF filmed fights:

10. Kansas City Bomber (1972) Raquel Welch def. Helena Kallianiotes in a big Roller Derby match race to climax the film..

9. The Arena [aka. Naked Warriors] (1974) Pam Grier and Margaret Markov fight to a draw in gladiator outfits.

8. Prehistoric Women (1967) Martine Beswick def. Stephanie Randall in a jungle queen vs. slave girl battle -- both wearing animal skin bikinis -- to the death.

7. Valley of The Dolls (1968) Patty Duke def. Susan Hayward in a wig-sn*tching battle -- both in evenig gowns -- in a bathroom.

6. Black Mama, White Mama (1973) Pam Grier def. Margaret Markov -- both in prison fatigues -- while chained together after escaping.

5. Coffy (1973) Pam Grier def. Linda Haynes -- both in fashion dresses -- at a party at a drug dealer's mansion.

4. The Miniskirt Mob (1968) Diane McBain in a miniskirt, biker jacket and boots def. Sherry Jackson in a bikini, cover-up frock and bare feet on a lake front.

3. The Legend of Frenchie King (1971) Cladia Cardinale battles to a draw with Brigitte Bardot both in cowgirl outfits in an Old West showdown.

2. From Russia With Love (1963) Martine Beswick and Aliza Gur fight to a draw as gypsy girls in a campsite battle in a James Bond movie.

1. One Million Years BC (1966) Raquel Welch def. Martine Beswick, both as cavewomen in sexy animal-skin bikinis in a cave in prehistoric times.

10. H.O.T.S.

Year: 1979

Nudity Type: TFTF

Catfight: Susan Kiger and team def. Lindsay Bloom and team in a strip football game.
H.O.T.S. Sorority House leader Kiger and Pi Sorority House leader Bloom go after the same college hunk and get into a face-slapping catfight at a disco. They agree to settle their feud with an on-campus college strip football game. The H.O.T.S. girls include Lisa London, Pamela Jean Bryant and Angela Aames. K.C. Winkler is Bloom's right-hand evil woman. With each touchdown scored, the team that is scored upon has to remove a piece of clothing. Both teams wind up in their panties. When the H.O.T.S. girls score the winning touchdwn, Bloom, Winkler and the rest of the Pi girls make a run for it to avoid having to surrender their panties to the H.O.T.S. gals in public. Not exactly a fight, but it is still a super hot scene. Also, early 1970s movie catfight queen Cheri Caffaro co-wrote and was an associate producer of this film.

9. Carry On Girls

Year: 1973

Nudity Type: CFTF

Catfight: Barbara Windsor def. Margaret Nolan in a bikini-sn*tching battle at a beauty contest.

This is, I believe, the 25th film in a series of British "Carry On" movies. At a promotional event for a beauty contest, Carry On regular Windsor is upset when Nolan's character. wearing a silver bikini, rides into the room on a donkey. Windsor, in a brown swimsuit, accuses Nolan of having stolen the silver bikini from her bag and attacks Nolan. Despite Windsor being short and barefoot and Nolan being tall and in heels, Windsor dominates the catfight from start to finish. Windsor strips Nolan of the silver bra and then tries to rip off the silver panties before the fight is broken up. Also in this film, Windsor's ample busom is exposed during a bikini exercise session. Windsor's bra just pops off and the other girls laugh at Windsor's embarrassment.

8. Mackenna's Gold

Year: 1969

Nudity type: NFCF

Julie Newmar def. Camilla Sparv in an underwater catfight at a desert pond.

Newmar should have done a lot more catfight scenes in her career. She is tall, athletic and still hot in her 70s. She is best known for her role as Catwoman in the Batman TV series. She took a break from the Catwoman role (Ertha Kitt took over as the feline criminal that season) to do the epic western. In Mackenna's Gold, Newmar portrays a tough Indian in love with Gregory Peck's cowboy character. Peck, however, had taken a liking to cowgirl Sparv. Jealous, Newmar decides to do away with Sparv in an underwater fight where Newmar was naked and armed with a knife and and Sparv was fully clothed without a weapon. Newmar failed to kill Sparv but still kicked her ass. Sparv was rescued by Peck as Newmar was about to drown her. Newmar is seen exiting the pond naked. Two interesting things about the scene: 1. The pond had to be built from scratch, with water trucked in. 2. Newmar's character was supposed to be topless, but wearing a loincloth. Newmar stated in a later interview that at the last minute she decided to do the scene nude. In a CFNF fight, rarely does the NF win. But Newmar is such an impressive grappler, there is no question she could have spotted Sparv shirt, pants, underwear and boots and still would have whipped her.

7. Ilsa, She-Wolf of the S.S. (and its three sequels)

Year of original Ilsa: 1974

Nudity Type: CFNF

Catfight: Dyanne Thorne def. Uschi Digard and others in various torture sessions and, in at least the original movie and one of the sequels, is stripped and killed at the end of the movie by the prisoners she disfigured or tortured earlier.

Technically, there are no traditional catfights in the Ilsa movies. But the torture and abuse by Ilsa of nude prisoners captures the spirit of this thread for both nudity and embarrassed females. So I count this film and its sequels among the best that feature nude catfights of the 1960s and '70s. The scene I chose to represent the female on female battles features big boob porn queen Digard naked and chained up in a decompression chamber. Digard is killed when air pressure in the sealed chamber is reduced. The evil Thorne, wearing a lab coat, watches the experiment approvingly. The theme of film is that Ilsa takes command of a Nazi death camp to oversee medical experiments to prove that women can withstand more pain and suffering than men and thus should be allowed to fight on the front lines. In another Ilsa movie, Thorne and her two henchwomen capture a female spy, strip her and put her boobs in a large vice grip to get information out of her.

Note: The last time I posted a photo that featured a Nazi swastika. a One Click Chicks messageboard administrator removed it. likely because the symbol is offensive to so many viewers. For full disclosure reasons, I am declaring that in two of the photos below (the arm band on Thorne in the poster and in the large red flag of the photo where Thorne is interviewing a naked prisoner) I have edited out the swastikas.

6. Move Over Darling

Year: 1963

Nudity type: CFNF

Catfight: Doris Day def. Polly Bergen in a massage-turned-catfight on a bed.

Doris Day, the perky star of what now is considered rather tame 1960s sex comedies, takes the Irene Dunne role in this remake of My Favorite Wife (1940). As the survivor of beng stranded on a desert island for five years, Day returns home the very day her husband (James Garner) remarried (Bergen). Garner is too afraid to tell his new bride that his old wife is still alive and has come home to renew their relationship. Initially, Day poses as a Swedish masseuse who has helped Garner with his back problem. She offers Bergen a massage and tells her to go take off her clothes. While massaging Bergen, who is clad only in a large towel, on the bed, Day gets angry when Bergen says it does not matter if Garner's first wife wre to come back some day because Garner was all hers now. Angry at the comment, Day, who is wearing a white nurse's outfit, begins to rough up Bergen. Bergen escapes Day's clutches only to have Day chase her and rip off her towel as Bergen flees the room. (If you have a real good DVD or VHS machine you can pause the film and actually see Bergen bare-assed as she flees from Day in that split-second shot). When Bergen reenters the room, she has managed to put on a blue robe to hide her nudity. Day tackles Bergen on the bed and beats her until Garner can pull Day off of Bergen. Trivia: Garner accidentally broke Day's rib while pulling Day off of Bergen. Garner was not aware he had injured Day until the next day, when he felt the bandages while putting his arms around her in another scene.

5. Unholy Rollers

Year: 1972

Nudity Type: CFNF

Catfight: Betty Ann Rees and friends def. Claudia Jennings in a bar.

In this Roller Derby-themed film, Rees and 1970 Playboy Playmate of the Year Jennings are teammates who don't get along. Their feud comes to a head when the female skaters go to a bar. There, Rees gets teammates Roberta Collins, Candice Roman and others to help her attack Jennings, hold her down and rip all her clothes off on a pool table. (Note: Collins defeated Pam Grier in the Philippines woman prison film The Big Doll House [1971]. That fight did not make my previously posted CFCF 1960s-70s top 10 catfight film list because in no universe does Collins beat Grier in a catfight!). After being stripped naked, Jennings is defiant and not at all humiliated by her forced nudity. She gets up and tells Rees to take a good look at what a fine body Jennings has and tells off all the other women attackers as well. In all of her naked glory, Jennings is impressive and full of attitude. One of the male skaters (Jay Varela) retrieves Jennings' clothes and gives her a lift on his motorcycle. The rest of the film features lots of catfights on wheels in Roller Derby scenes. Jennings' promising career as an ass-kicking adventure film actress was tragically cut short when she died at age 29 in a 1979 auto accident.

4. Eye of the Cat

Year: 1969

Nudity Type: CFNF

Catfight: Gail Hunnicutt def. Jennifer Leak in a bedroom fight over a man.

After this film aired in drive-ins and other theatres in 1969, it was heavily edited for 1970s' television and its sexiest scenes were long lost, including the first of two catfights between Hunnicutt and Leak. It is difficult to find a restored version and, from my understanding, the film has never been relased in its uncut version on VHS and DVD. The original theatrical uncensored version featured in its opening scene Leak and male lead Michael Sarrazin naked and in bed together. A fully clothed Hunnicutt, a cosmetologist and confidante of Sarrazin's aunt, enters the apartment uninvited to tell Sarrazin that his aunt is dying of emphysema. She tells him to get dressed so they can go see her. When Hunnicutt informs Leak that Sarrazin will not be coming back to her, Leak drops her sheet and, buck naked, attacks Hunnicutt like a wild cat. Hunnicutt fends Leak off as Sarrazin grabs Leak and tells her to stop acting like a cat. Sarrazin has ailurophobia -- a persistent fear of cats. I considered Hunnicutt the winner of the short fight because Sarrazin indeed leaves with her as Leak sobs on the bed. The theme is that Sarrazin's dying aunt plans to leave her fortune to her colony of cats. Hunnicutt wants Sarrazin to return to his aunt, get rid of her cats, be reinstated as the sole heir and kill the old lady to get her fortune. But with the removal of the CFNF opening scene from televised versions of the movie, the rest of the film is hard to follow. Later in the film, Hunnicutt and Leak, both wearing miniskirt outfits, run into each other at a party and have a knockdown, dragout CFCF catfight that many viewers would vividly recall. That battle, I'd say, ended in a draw.
