Curious post there amenofis, I can't quite see the connection with Dogseye's info which, having lived in Turkey myself, I can guarantee is quite true.

I asked a few Turkish friends about this and can confirm 100% that the original posters claim is not true. They have state run brothels in Turkey but the idea that you can reduce your sentence by serving in one is frankly a little bizarre. Absolutely untrue today. I guess it is possible that at some time in the past it was....
