Not a very good turnout for women. Maybe 5-8 total, at least at the start at the park. A gorgeous woman from Naked News did some interviews but it didn't look like she would ride. I'll post pics when I get home today or tomorrow.

The event, (that I'd ridden in and followed for over a decade) has suffered from overt female harassment that would eventually overpower the protest element, the thing that brought in the younger ladies. There will still be a few exhibitionist women, but I doubt if the golden days of ten years ago will return.

Melbournes previously posted on yt at a disapponting 360p are at vimeo.com/wnbrmelbourne/videos at 1080p, along with some earlier years, but note: the yt ones were zapped along with that whole account, so if you like something here...as to the sausage-fest aspect, 'twas ever thus at WNBRs to some extent, and we've been locked down during 2 years during which was the growth of metoo etc; I'm withholding judgment for a while, though I agree the long-term arc has been declining in terms of OCC appeal.
