Well long story short, I lost the bet...
I let my wife pick which team she wanted to pull for since she really doesn't follow all that much about football. She picked the Seahawks because she likes Russell Wilson. That is the only reason she gave me for picking them, at least it wasn't because they have prettier colors lol! I too wanted the Seahawks to win but I was secretly hoping she wouldn't pick Denver because I thought they had a slight edge going in. Anyway... The stakes we finally agreed on Sunday afternoon were that the loser would have to be the winner's slave, with the amount of time determined by how many points the winner's team beat the loser's. Basically, a touchdown was worth an hour, field goal half an hour, etc. Seemed like an excellent idea at the time, but I'm sure many of you will get a laugh out of these terms since its after the fact LOL. So... 43-8... 35 points... 5 TDs... FIVE FUCKING HOURS! You have to be shitting me! No way did I ever think either of us would wind up stuck for that long! And of course she basically rode my ass talking smack from the first snap... It was a very long game for me haha. Well I don't know for sure what she has in store for me, but every time I ask her she gives me a huge smile and laughs maniacally. Very unsettling! She has asked me if I still have a set of handcuffs so I have a feeling it will involve them... She also said it will either go down this weekend or the next, depending on "circumstances"... I will keep everyone posted on what happens. I hate it for the rest of you (and me) that I didn't win! Being my slave for five hours would have been great for everyone, I had some good ideas...

Anticipation
Wolf, the anticipation of not knowing what your wife has in store for you must be killing you! She's a smart woman! (and MEAN, too!
 ) She has a fish dangling on the end of her line. Will she catch and release? Will she keep it and eat it? Will she have it mounted? Hopefully for you, she'll do some eating and, of course mount it in the end! (Ooh, "in the end" may have been a bad choice of words. After all, she did ask about the handcuffs and you never know... Lol! Just how kinky is she??) Seriously, have fun with it and good luck to you! As far as my wife's bet to Peelthemdown goes, we are still hopeful that we will have our photo session this weekend. Unfortunately, my long weekend has been cut back by mandatory overtime at work and there is also supposed to be a big snowstorm/blizzard coming through here on Sunday (although I haven't seen an updated forecast in a day or two) so who knows. If not this weekend, then definitely next weekend. Keep the faith. She will pay off her bet and with Wolf's permission, we will post those results on this thread. Oh yeah, I should clarify that when Mrs Nectcouple said that she wouldn't be happy about paying up her bet, the only reason for her unhappiness was because her beloved Manning and her Broncos lost the big one, not because of the pending photo session! Rest assured, she'll be smiling in her photos! Peelthemdown, reading your suggestions about light and shadows, as well as settings, tells me that you are very familiar with photography (if not a professional). I wish I still had my studio and equipment, but I do not. I lost it all in a bitter divorce over 20 years ago and quit photography as a result. BUT, I will get my creative juices flowing again (just as Mrs. Nectcouple will get her juices flowing) and we'll will see what we can come up with asap. As for outdoor shots, I would LOVE to do that now but since the temps are hovering in the teens out there (7 degrees F right now!!) and 12" of snow and ice on the ground already, that is not an option. When the weather breaks this coming spring and summer, however, you can bet we will have some very interesting hikes into some of my favorite woodland areas and I will shoot some beautiful scenery! Sorry to keep you all dangling on the end of our line, but we really have no choice.

A gal I was dating back in 05 made a bet with a co-worker on the Superbowl. If she lost she had to provide the co-worker with a dipped cigar (Lewinski style). I found about it after the fact.
Needless to say she lost and paid off

We had a HOT photo session over the weekend and now I'm in the process of choosing the right ones, cropping and blocking some faces in some. I am back at work for the week (12 hr shift) so its taking some time. They'll be up soon. Promise!

At Last!
Finally, I have the shout outs that were requested as a result of our lost bet! We were a little disappointed at the lack of requests, having only received two, but here they are. The really interesting photos were taken "after" the photo session, but those wouldn't be allowed in this section. Cufan86 and Tylergal, You weren't "friends" at the time of the bet, but you were the only two people to request a pose. I hope these are close enough to what you asked for and thanks for your requests! Peelthemdown, your three are here as well.
