Towelround part2.
All contestants were, as told us, staying on the campsite and they all came to me over as true naturists, only the Russian contestant, which was contestant nr.3, came to me over as a bit to ordinair. I guess she also would have done some naughtier things. I also saw several contestants in the next days after the election.

Here i start with the pics and story of the 2013 Koversada Fest.
I was just comming this weekend back from my 2 weeks holiday there and wasn't able to post earlier pics.
First of all, i have to say that it's not easy to get at Koversada by public transport. I had a "EuroNight" train from Munich to Ljublana, but before the train left Munich we had already more then 15 minutes delay and arriving at Ljublana we had a delay of 35-40 minutes, so i missed my connection to Hrpelje-Kozina (change to small train on same platform) and Pula (from where a bus to Vrsar/Koversada goes). As there is only one direct connection each day to and from Pula/Istrië (the part of Croatia where Koversada is) i could have a problem. The woman of the Slovanian railway company just said to me, at about 06.45hr in the morning, that i wouldn't get there the same day.
But not for me!!! I did some homework before and knew there is a small local train riding during the day between Pula and Buzet (near the border in the north) and there are more trains going to Hrpelje-Kozina. So i took a train to Hrpelje-Kozina, a taxi to Buzet railway station (in the middle of nowhere somewhere in the mountains, about 5 km from the town of Buzet), the local small train from Buzet to Pula, went out in Kanfanar (the nearest train station to Koversada) and took a taxi to Koversada. So in finally got there!!!!
And already on the sunday i arrived i get the flyer of the Koversada 2013 fest:

Some outstanding work here Mr. And well done with the travel issues...This makes me wanna travel too, Im also good at improvising when its needed. Ahh, the excitement of the unknown. I might very well go to Croatia next summer.

And the last part of the towel round pics. Apologies for the fact that not all pics came out as intended, but that was partly due to circumstances as mentioned earlier. Next time i will bring up more/better equipment if possible.

After the towel round, the jury had hard work to decise who would be number one, two and three.
To give them a bit time for it and for the contestants to change back into normal outfit we get some music and a short dance act.

When the contestants had changed back into normal outfit they came up back on stage, all nervous and hoping they would be the new Miss Koversada 2013....

The two presenters, hosts, of the whole event brought up the tension while all nervous contestants and we were waiting....

AND THE BRONZE, 3th PLACE IS FOR:
CONTESTANT 10!!!

AND THE SILVER, SECOND PLACE IS FOR:
CONTESTANT 5!!!

AND THEGOLD, FIRST PLACE IS FOR:
CONTESTANT 13!!!

Congratulations to Karolina from Italy to be Miss Koversada 2013!!!
She deserved the title definately in my opinion!!!

And after the announcement we got the traditional fireworks and when that was finished "Exclusive" began to play again assisted by a DJ. The party lasted until 3am. If there was a price, not for beautyness but for dancing-energy, Karolina still would have the first prize as she was dancing in my area with her friends/family till almost 3am when all other contestants were still gone.
Then some important notes to now:

- The towel round was only a matter of seconds, less then 1 1/2 minute probably
- Not all contestants got fully nude in the towel round
- The people i spoke, especially on my table, were disappointed about this, because last year all contestants got fully nude and the towel round was much longer.
- I did not get better fully naked pics, also my Samsung WB600 camera was not quick enough to handel it.
- Next year i will also shoot a video of the towel round.
- Every 100m-200m, probably, you see a sign on the campground that i't's forbidden to shoot pics or film videos.
- Every day i saw security people and/or police on the campground.
- So no other (voyeur) pics shot by me.
- Till three years ago, Koversada had another chef who forbid people to take pics or shoot videos, so you would not find much from the years before 3 years ago.
- I think i saw only one photographer who could be professional and who only shot pics of the winners.
- So i'm not surprised if you won't find anything else.
- There was an Italian guy, with his wife, looking semi professional, shooting a video, probably for a dvd as he had also shot some dvd's from the 2012 election. I don't know if they are available somewhere or that he made those dvd's for private use. (he gave some contestants a copy)
