Maybe I'm blind, but I don't recall seeing photos of this girl thus far from the Fremont Parade...are there more out there?? [Photos off the bike and/or at the painting party in particular would be awesome, but hey, I'll take whatever I can get of her.]

If you don't like his work, don't look at it. It's as simple as that. Don't try to demonize a highly appreciated poster because his work cramps your style. I am grateful for all we can get and Irishboy's work is top notch as far as I'm concerned. Therefore I will not join you in your high horse quest, which seems to be going nowhere anyway. It is a great event where women ( as well as men unfortunately) choose to ride bikes naked and bodypainted. Great right?!

Yes it is! And no-one has a monopoly on posting pics or the right to exclude others to post pics. I'm grateful for your pics, but I'm just going to go ahead and say it: I wish you had the guts to take shots like Irishboy, because his work is awesome!

I couldn't have said it better myself..Thanks Simon..Although I make no illusion that my work is for everyone I do find it quite amusing that ole willie is complaining about my work while visiting a porn site..wow!

Not blind, but not looking in the right place. There was a bunch of shots of her right away, then nothing for a long time until the one you just posted. I'm a big fan of her, too, and if I find any shots that aren't on this thread, I'll be sure to post them.

The last thing I would want to see is a rift forming between event photographers. IrishBoy2525, some remarks you have made in your own thread have caused me to wonder: Are you working with us (other event photographers) or in competition with us? We all need to respect one another and work together to insure that our craft remains viable.

Willie-T expressed some strong opinions, but he did so in my thread, which, because IrishBoy2525 has opted to have his own thread, might imply that this thread is primarily for non crotch focused Fremont pics (and associated opinions). That said, I think I would rather that IrishBoy2525's fans refrain from coming over here and further stirring up the pot. After all, no one from "the other side" has yet to respond to some of the remarks that have been made in IrishsBoy's thread that seem to poke fun at non crotch focused pics.

If separate threads and separate focuses is what we have, then lets get on with the posting. Enjoy what you like and ignore what you don't, including any opinions which may be contrary to your own that appear in "the other thread". Just my advice...because just as IrishBoy has supporters, so does Willie-T. Flame Willie-T in my thread and you invite someone going over to IrishBoy252's thread and doing the same. And then before you know it, a little war has broken out when all you really needed to do is stick to the stuff you like and don't read the op-eds, BS, and other stuff you don't agree with. I've ready plenty lately, and frankly, none of it is serving the prime objective which should be to collectively provide OCC with quality event pics.

BTW - I check both thread regularly as I know a lot of you do too. But if IrishBoy is going to continue to foster some sort of separation between different types of event pics, something that I never did in the past, diverging opinions and maybe some sparring among fans seems inevitable...

I'm not in competition Klondike as theres nothing to win..I just like having my own thread as I take so many pics contributions probably would be just end up being repetitive...When guys come to my thread they'll know that everything they see is new and refreshing..I didnt mean to ruffle any feathers...My style isn't for everyone but judging by all this fuss it is for someone....Theres something for everyone here..if a guy stumbles onto my thread and dont like my crotch shots he wont "thank me" and he wont come back....He doesn't need to berate me or my style as Willie T did..Theres a lot of threads on here that I dont particularly care for but I'm not going to flame the author...I just wont visit it again and Willie T could have done the same...And again I'm sorry if I offended you or anyone else.

If there is ever going to be a debate on the merits of crotch focused event pics vs non crotch focused event pics, I would probably suggest that it go in a separate thread in the feedback forum, not in these threads. And so I'd recommend that the threads try and remain opinion-free. If something is posted that one doesn't agree with, move on. There is still a lot of overlap in the pics you post in your thread vs the pics in my thread -overlap in style as well as in fan appreciation. Thats what I want to encourage.....
