This is ridiculous. I think the watermark rule is good, but posters who cull great pics and vids from obscure sites that most of us will never see are welcome as far as I'm concerned. Making it a rule that if a video EVER appeared on ANY other site is applying the originality rule too stringently.

Since the originator of the thread hasn't been around since last September, I have to agree. I also find it a little hard to believe that every video posted here was shot by the poster which means they were most likely copied from other sites. As a matter of fact, I have seen some of these on other sites. I for one really appreciate the vids that Lagoon381 posts. Just my opinion. I could be wrong.

Since we're on the topic of voyeur, I have videos of my friends step sister on VHS and was wondering how to get them onto my computer. I may just record em with my digital camera from the tv and post em up. Better than not at all. They are excellent

I mean, you probably shoud invest big dollars in some high end capture and conversion equipment, so you can remaster the video until it's better than its source (like Star Wars and Indiana Jones). But, if you're so excited about posting new material that you're willing to just use the equipment you have to make the video now, I guess none of us can stop you. Of course if your stuff's good enough, we can thank you and compliment your work until you have no alternative but to upgrade it to higher standa. . . no, enough of my bullshit: If you can post original material, do it as you're able. If it's really good, and develops a cult following, you'll find sponsors to pay for all that fancy new hardware.

Man, the first time I saw ET was a vhs from a camcorder in a theater, and lemme tell ya, ET still looked like ET. Now, as wrong as it is to use a personal video camera to distribute pirated copies of a major motion picture, it is even worse to not use that camera to share video of your friend's step sister.

I use Pinnacle Studio hardware and software to capture from my VHS tapes and turn them into digital files. I just checked the Pinnacle website and the latest version is $130. Might be cheaper in some stores. Don't know if that represents "big bucks" but I get pretty good end results.

As much as I would love to post the videos, I'm worried about the superslim possibility that someone will recognize it as her and all hell breaking loose from there. I know, it sounds like that's near impossible, but once it's on the net, it's on the net for good. I'll give it some more thought though. I'm really dying to post it since it's great material.

Don't waste your time recording off your TV, the pictures suck .. Not knowing what camera you have, if it has cable jacks on it, I would just rerecord the video from VHS to your video camera. Most newer cameras will plug into your computer via the firewire port, and it is simple to capture from there. You lose a little bit between VHS and the camera, but it will still be a lot better then trying to record off the TV screen.
