Naked Students Run Amok In 'Horrendous' Community Maze, Aberystwyth

community maze dubbed a waste of taxpayers' cash is to be locked at night after dozens of naked revellers were caught using it as a party venue.

The novelty "labyrinth" in the seaside resort of Aberystwyth, West Wales, was dismissed as "horrendous" by some locals even before it opened in the summer.

Built at the cost of £5,000 on an unused green at a bowling club in Queen's Road, it has previously been likened to a military memorial in the Somme.

Consisting of 720 separate waist-high wooden posts linked by one mile of rope threaded between them, getting lost is not an option.

Getting naked, however, is another matter, according to one resident who wrote to the town council to complain in a letter read out at its last meeting.

It claimed up to 50 drunken revellers, believed to be university students, were caught running around inside the maze in a naked or semi-naked state.

Their swearing and drunken antics lasted for about 30 minutes, woke his children, and prompted him to call the police, who dispersed the group.

Town councillor Ceredig Davies confirmed that the council was taking action to lock the labyrinth as a result of the letter.

"The town council received a letter from a resident who lives in the proximity of the labyrinth and who was not happy it was not locked at night." the councillor said.

"He stated that on one particular occasion there were people running around inside it - starkers."

He added: "As a university town, we do experience an element of young people enjoying themselves in high spirits.

Police arrest naked woman at Rockwood Wal-Mart

A Harriman woman faces seven charges, all related to a recent trip she made to the Wal-Mart in Rockwood.

The problem? Police say among other things, the woman was naked and shoplifting.

According to a police report Angelia Marie Mayo, 29, walked into the store around 4:10 p.m. Tuesday and started filling a garbage bag full of make up and jewelry.

Mayo then stripped naked and started trying on clothes after throwing her own clothes in the trash, the report says.

Police searched her purse and found 36 Xanax pills and 10 Suboxen pills. The report says she also told officers she had just taken two of the pills.

Police say Mayo told officers she didn't know where the pills came from. The report goes on to say Mayo, "...didn't know where she was at, what time is what, or the day."

She was then arrested and charged with theft, possession of controlled substances, public indecency, public intoxication and criminal trespassing.

But that's not all, police say she pulled her right hand out of her handcuffs as she was being taken to jail. That added an escape charge.

NNude woman streaked through Rock Hill neighborhood, banged on doors

A Rock Hill woman whose aunt said she had been using crack cocaine throughout the day streaked across a neighborhood without her shirt and pants on Christmas Eve, knocking on stranger’s doors and yelling “nonsensical things,” police say.

At about 1 p.m. Tuesday, police were sent to a Hutchinson Street home after a woman reported that her niece, Angel Brock, 38, began taking her clothes off outside, according to a Rock Hill Police report. She told police that Brock had been “smoking crack all day and was running around yelling and taking her clothes off.”

They found Brock banging on the screen door of a house. She was topless and her pants were falling down around her knees, the report states.

Woman arrested after report she was intoxicated, naked in a field

A Dewey woman was arrested Friday for allegedly being intoxicated and naked in a field.

Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested 46-year-old Shelly Dawn Williams on Dec. 20 on charges of intoxication, obstructing an officer and outraging public decency.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed in Washington County District Court, around 12:42 a.m. deputies responded to a call of a domestic in progress at a trailer in the 13600 block of U.S. Highway 75. Deputies say they found Williams, “completely naked inside a recreational vehicle.”

A witness reportedly told authorities that problems began when Williams smoked some marijuana and “ran east out of the residence completely naked.” ...

When asked why she had been “running around naked,” she reportedly said, “I don’t know, but it was funny wasn’t it?”

Police call off search for naked woman in forest in South Gippsland, Victoria

A WOMAN feared missing after she was last seen running naked into a forest in South Gippsland has been found safe and well.

Police yesterday appealed for help to find the 39-year-old woman, saying she needed medical help and may be suffering from mental health issues.

She was last seen running into the Alberton West State Forest near Gelliondale Rd and Cemetery Lane, 208km southeast of Melbourne, about 5pm on Wednesday.

Initial reports indicated the woman was wearing nothing but her boots, and that she had a Jack Russell terrier with her.

Police said the Alberton West woman returned home with her dog shortly after 6am today.

"She was taken to Latrobe Regional Hospital for assessment but is otherwise safe and well," police spokeswoman Natalie Webster said.

Naked Woman With Angel Wings Says She Was Nude ‘Because I’m Stupid’

A naked woman, wearing only a pair of angel wings, was arrested Tuesday morning in Arkansas, and when police asked Christine Lawrence why she chose to parade around in public nude, she told them simply, “because I’m stupid.”

As reported in the Arkansas newspaper, The Baxter Bulletin, police were first alerted to the situation by the newspaper itself. Someone there called the cops to report a naked woman with angel wings on her back bothering a newspaper employee, asking if the employee had been “saved.”...

A Baxter Bulletin delivery carrier was in the process of loading her vehicle with papers for her morning route when she spotted a naked woman in the newspaper facility’s parking lot.

“I could tell she didn’t have any clothes on at all,” Debbie Donovan told the paper’s reporters. “All she had on was suede boots, that’s all. I thought this was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen.”...

Tuesday was actually the naked woman’s 47th birthday, but she also would not say if going outside in her birthday suit was her way of celebrating her the occasion.
