Hello Pedro,

First of all i would like to thank you once again and as every year now for your stunning pictures and I wish you more good upcoming shots.
I did play a bit with two of your pictures, just a bit of color improvements, I guess you don't have the time to do such things on your image due of the quantity of them.
But actually just with a few simple steps you can improve the quality of your work.
If i remember well you had discuss about that in a thread last year.
I used the famous photoshop to do so, but if you don't want to pay for it you can off course find freeware / opensource programs that does really good work also.
It can solve some small out of focus issues you got by adding a bit of sharpening for example, and then just a bit of color correction.
For those two pics I only did an auto contrast, followed by less saturation in the reds and a sharpening, it takes like 10 seconds a pic. Photoshop offers the possibility to do it in batch mode as well.
But anyway even if you don't do it, your pictures still amazing!
Keep on going and can't wait to see the rest of your Spanish summer!

Thanks for adjusting those shots, I know that photoshop would help, but it is not cheap to buy or a small DL either.

The shots I am uploading now were taken in full late afternoon sun (with an orange parasol not helping the lighting either) and with the camera hidden totally, except the one centimetre diameter lens. When I am further away, I expose more of the camera which (by exposing the sensors) more give better balanced shots. This year as I am taking more shots, I am trying to be more careful and (where possible) being a bit further away. The lens is in full shadow under a bag, most people (at my normal range) would not have the eyesight to see something that small, even if they were looking. Getting caught would pretty much mean and end to more shots on that beach, so what I can get is as good as it gets. Feel free to tinker with any shots you save.

Anyway, on with the shots!!!

This family group (French speakers) were already in position when I arrived at one of my usual spots. Ideally, I wanted to get the other side of them (for lighting), but a deserted parasol and beach mat stood where I wanted to go

. The spot I chose was a compromise and was a little closer than ideal...however it worked out fine in the end! I waited for them to return from a swim, as when laying down, they were looking into my camera. This way, I knew they would be watching their feet and not me!

In the last of this (burst mode) sequence of shots, we see the daughter come closer and sit down.

It was at about this time, another blonde girl sets up behind them and strips fully in about ten seconds. I was left with the frustrating scenario of having wait for the 'family' to go (or at least have another swim

) before I could capture the new arrival! After about half an hour, they decided to leave I started getting the shots that you will see next!

See the 'third blonde' check out the second when she leaves the water

In a split second, the one with the hat leaps up for a dip

, only a fleeting rear view was possible, the next set will be her coming back!

As you can see below, the second blonde was very fit (almost in a flamenco dancer sort of way) and too good to miss capturing for the forum. She ended up with her legs open (see last shot), giving the many beach user's leaving for the day (who would pass about three feet from her).......a nice view indeed!

That's about it from me for a couple of weeks now, if anybody wants to edit or improve anything, to keep the thread alive, feel free. I should be about next week, but I doubt if I will have time for a beach visit

I do still have a few 'odds and ends' to post

A note to Pedro or others who are interested in manipulating images but don't want to spend the money on Photoshop: There is a free alternative for Windows computers called Paint .NET that does much of what Photoshop does and is very easy to use. The software is made available for free and maintained by Microsoft programmers so you don't have to worry about spyware or other software piggybacking on the install. There are also many free plug-ins to add to the basic color and luminance manipulations if you need more capability than is in the standard install.

For Windows/Mac/Linux there is the GIMP, a free and open source image manipulation program that isn't quite as easy to use but nearly as powerful as Photoshop for color balance and luminance control.

And Pedro, thanks again for the terrific shots you get consistently!
