I so wish the entire 3-5 minute segment could be found. She has a sweet backside that was not part of this 'retrospect' on the final airing.

It also brought back my own memories of seeing it for the first time and the effect it had on my wife when she saw it.

No, it was all censored (those 'bubbles' are so 1950's looking compared to todays cgi methods).

I just wish I could locate the entire segment so you could follow the progression as she disrobes. For example, this little clip does not include the scene where she's walking with a beachgoer and the camerman is following her. It's just after she's removed her shorts and you're seeing her thong covered butt. It was awesome. The blue of the thong, offset against her creamy white bottom. The tan lines starting about mid-thigh indicating what appeared to be biker pants. You can see in pic #8 as she's removing her thong, the pale skin.

This had to be a huge leap for her. You wonder how she reacted when the bosses gave her the assignment. What she was thinking as she arrived and started the segment. You wonder at what point she decided to 1) remove her top, 2) remove her bottoms.

There was another reporter who did the same thing in Haulover Beach a few years back. She worked for a Spanish station in Miami called America Teve in a show called La Cosa Nostra. Her name was Gelet Martinez and she was an adorable.

She stripped naked as soon as she got to the beach and started interviewing the nudists. She even received a bare butt massage from a really old man.

The censorship method they used were these floating little flowers that had a real hard time staying in place. There were quite a few nipple slips. They also applied some ridiculous filters and kept switching from color to black and white, it was really annoying but still, an amazing piece of television. It was incredibly hot because, even though the show was humorous, she was a serious reporter and very professional.

I had the show recorded in my DVR but vas never able to extract it and lost it when I switched satellite providers. I have been searching for years but no luck. I imagine there must be an uncensored version somewhere...

Just remembered a cute TV reporter in Nanaimo, British Columbia called Kait Burgan. Faced with tough competition to win over audiences, an Albanian TV channel is taking a literal approach towards giving viewers the “naked” truth — by employing almost-topless newsreaders.

Wearing open jackets and nothing underneath, the young women reading the headlines on Zjarr TV are an unprecedented sight in the conservative Balkan country, where they first appeared on television and Internet screens last year.

The channel’s owner says audiences haven’t stopped growing since.

“In Albania, where the news is manipulated by political powers, the audience needed a medium that would present the information like it is — naked,” Zjarr TV owner Ismet Drishti told AFP.

“We don’t sell sex, we reproduce the news as it is. It’s both symbolic and good publicity,” said Drishti, who plans to launch French and English language bulletins with “bare information” following the same model.

For 24-year-old presenter Greta Hoxhaj, working in a state of near undress has proved to be a shortcut to glory.

“I worked hard for five years in local television where I remained unnoticed,” a cheerful and relaxed Hoxhaj told AFP in the studio, while her face was made up for the cameras.

“I regret nothing — in the space of three months I became a star.”

So I don't know if this has been posted anywhere else on the forum, but I found the video of Diane y'all were looking for.

It looks like the full segment to me, but there are some parts from southrn500's description that are missing, specifically the very beginning when she's wearing the tank top, and the part where they cut back to the studio. Fortunately, this clip starts when she's still wearing the bikini, and ends with her dipping in the ocean as seen in the caps from years ago.

The other thing that's kind of disappointing is the quality isn't the best, but considering this is from the year 2000 and the elusiveness of the segment itself, It's still pretty good to finally see this.

Also, you're going to want to turn annotations off, the uploader covers all of his videos with them for some reason.
